What is Barre?
Barre workouts work the entire body while targeting and toning specific muscle groups to burn fat and sculpt/tone your bum, arms, thighs and core. This is achieved through concentrated isometric movements that work the muscle to fatigue and then stretching the muscle to lengthen it. Barre technique is an athletic fusion of elements from dance, Pilates, Yoga and weight resistance. The Benefits of Barre conditioning aims to quickly create long, lean muscles. Toned thighs, a lifted seat, flat abs, amplified fat burning and increased flexibility, as well as improved posture, and that’s just some of the benefits of a Barre focused workout. Many fanatics of the Barre system say it has completely transformed their bodies.
Group Reformer; Private Reformer; Semi and Trio-Privates, Small Group Classes
In this small group (max 10 students to 1 teacher ratio) you will receive personalized attention in the group reformer class. Reformers focus on the full body and works everything from legs, abdominals, butt, arms, back, deep core muscles and includes cardio session with pilates Cardio-Tramps. Reformer exercises are perfect for individuals with injuries, and or exercises restrictions.
All sessions run for 60 minutes. All group Reformer sessions run for 8 week sessions. Private sessions of one-on-one, semi, trio must be booked in advanced. 48hr cancellation notice required for all Reformer classes without cancellation fee.
Springboard Wall Pilates
Springboard workouts incorporate various Pilates elements to create a training program that targets all areas of the body using the body’s own resistance. Unlike Reformer Pilates, in which the carriage is moved via body movement, the Springboard allows your legs and arms to use different strings to generate varying resistance.
Each class can accommodate a maximum of 5 trainees, allowing the instructor to give individualised attention, correct and modify exercises.
HIIT Barre BLAST
HIIT: HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING. An intensive, 60 minute cardio class. This challenging workout will have you sweating like a dancer, burning calories and fat by the minute and sculpting and toning your body from head to toe.
This 60 minute muscle burn class will have you feel muscles you didn’t even know existed. Using classic Barre Movements with light hand-held weights, we will make your muscles scream, elongated and Lean.
Namely, Flex and Tone those tiny muscle groups that help support the big muscle groups. This cardio-based barre class target different muscles while getting your heart racing. Equipment used: Flexi-Bands, Balls, and Weights. 60 minutes.
Barrelaties and Core Barre
This is a 50/50 class of Classic Barre and Classical Pilates or Classic Barre with Core challenging excersises using resistabands, balls, weighted balls, gliding disks, and pilates sticks. Less time spent at the barre and more time spent on your mats. This class sculpts, tones, and gives you a strong core workout, incorporating barre and pilates elements. 60 minutes.
Pilates Mat, Power Pilates and Pilates Sticks
These classes strengthen and tones the core and abdominal muscles. Also Strengthens the back muscles and helps to relieve back pain. The Power Pilates class is an intense core class that will make you sweat and burn calories. Pilates also helps with balance and makes you stand taller and look leaner. All levels are welcome as instructors give modifications for beginners. 60 minutes.
Pre-natal yoga is specially designed for moms-to-be and is beneficial in preparing the body for birth by strengthening muscles, as well as in unwinding and de-stressing. During pregnancy, your body undergoes many physical, postural and hormonal changes as your body prepares itself for labor. Special equipment is used to ensure comfortable and modifiable postures, as everyone’s bodies are different. 60 minutes.

Prenatal Pilates is a series of prenatal fitness exercises specially designed for moms-to-be and are beneficial in preparing the body for birth by strengthening the tummy, back and pelvic floor muscles without straining other joints. During pregnancy, your body undergoes many physical, postural and hormonal changes as your body prepares itself for labor. Pilates exercises targets specific muscles to prevent issues with muscular functions during pregnancy and after birth. As Pilates exercises have no impact on joints, moms-to-be can enjoy prenatal fitness classes in a completely safe way.
Deep Stretch Yoga
This muscle elongating, 60 minute yoga class incorporates yin yoga elements to help relieve stress, build strength, detox, energize your soul, aligns your bones, breathing techniques, challenges the mind, release tension, improve flexibility, balance, strengthen core.
Yogalaties incorporates yoga and pilates elements in a 75 minute strength-building workout. Helps relieve stress, detox, energize your soul, aligns your bones, breathing techniques, challenges the mind, release tension, improve flexibility, balance, strengthen core.
